WCAG accessibility compliance

Avon and Somerset Police aims to meet level AA WCAG for:

• styles, components and patterns
• In-house developed applications
• COTs products

Avon and Somerset Police aims to maintain this level AA rating for the version of WCAG which:

• is considered the ‘latest published version’
• has been published for at least a year

For example, in August 2022, we would follow the WCAG 2.1 recommendation from 05 June 2018.

We have written this accessibility compliance into our Definition of done.
